PG Road Construction to increase after long weekend

Road crews in Prince George will be busy after the long weekend.

Three projects will be on the go including Tyner Boulevard between University Way and UNBC.

Supervisor of Street Operations, Mick Jones says they would like the project before the students return to class.

“That’s defiantly a goal we are going to try and do what we can to minimize disruption to all motorists we have another couple of projects that will be coming in the next few weeks in and around schools and we also want to get those completed before traffic volumes pick up in those areas.”

All three are expected to wrap up on August 14th weather permitting.

The Tyner project will cost around 600 thousand dollars and no vehicle access will be permitted during construction.
