Several Art, Cultural, and sporting programs in PG are receiving a funding boost.
MLA Shirley Bond says these nine organizations received some money from BC government gaming grants:
“… and they span everywhere from a grant for Prince George minor hockey, the Fraser-Fort George Museum Society, the Prince George Blizzards speed skating group, so there is quite a variety of organizations that are receiving part of this grant”
Bond says over $330,000 was doled out to the organizations.
The PG minor hockey association alone received over $100,000, with the PG youth volleyball and ringette associations also among the recipients.
