BC Hydro says a power outage will take place in the Fort St. James area on Sunday.
Northern Community Relations Manager, Bob Gammer says it will take place during the middle of the night.
“Just after midnight and up to 6am we are planning a power outage that will affect all of the area plus the three first nations Nak’azdli, TI’azt’en and Yekooche.”
They will be doing work at the substation for the new power generating station which is expected to open later next year.
Over 2400 customers will be affected.
