The Prince George Barracudas placed 19th out of 59 teams at the Mel Zajac Jr International Long Course swim meet in
Vancouver. Hannah Esopenko qualified (in the 200 breast) for the Senior Nationals for the first time. The Barracudas established a total of seven club records (which are listed below).

–The Prince George Superior Fencing Reds men’s fastpitch team placed 4th out of a seven at a tournament in Calihoo, Alberta.

–The BX Pub Bandits improved to 2-5 in Prince George Senior Lacrosse following a 13-9 victory over the Quesnel Cariboo Hotel Crossfire. Quesnel is 2-4. The Westwood Pub Devils lead the league with a 7-0 record.

–The Edmonton Oil Kings captured the Memorial Cup with a 6-3 victory over the Guelph Storm. Edmonton is the first WHL team to win the Memorial Cup since the 2008 Spokane Chiefs upended the Kitchener Rangers on home ice six years ago.

–Prince George gymnasts participated at the Zone 8 Championships in Fort St John. (Top five all around results are listed below)
