The Prince George Spruce Kings found their way into the win column at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack today with a 6-3 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Trail would get on the board first in the opening period after Harlan Orr put one past goaltender Sam Tanguay.

In the second the game opened up offensively when Jake LeBrun scored 1:03 into the middle frame to even the score at 1-1.

Both teams would then trade goals the rest of the period thanks to a power play goal by Rhett Wilcox and an even strength marker from Kyle Johnson.
