Housing starts in Prince George sky-rocketed last month according to the Canadian Mortgage Housing Corporation.
Senior Market Analyst, Taylor Pardy says the city is well ahead of last year’s pace.
“So far in 2015 their have been 128 single detached starts in Prince George compared to 88 in the same period of 2014 and on the multi home side we have seen 73 starts compared to just 7 last year.”
Pardy adds cities like Vernon and Kamloops put up similar numbers to Prince George.
