The Prince George Cougars have announced a new partnership to support local charities.
The team has partnered with local business MNP Consulting to present the “Score for the Community” fundraiser.
For every goal the Cougars score at home this season, MNP will donate 10 dollars to the Prince George Community Foundation.
“The Cougars have a strong belief in terms of giving back to the community, MNP has the same philosophy” said Gary Samis with the Cougars. “This was a win-win for everybody concerned.”
Samus says the Community Foundation is a worthy recipient.
“The Community Foundation is well known within Prince George,” said Samus. “It Provides a lot of funding to a variety of different needs in the Prince George area.
The Community Foundation helps fund a number of local charities and community projects through grants.
