Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Brandon Manning (who is from Prince George) was involved in the “hockey play” that resulted in Connor McDavid suffering a broken clavicle.
During the second period of the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 victory, October’s rookie of the month got tangled up with Manning and another Flyers defenceman, Michael Del Zotto, and all three crashed into the boards behind the Flyers Philly net.
McDavid will be sidelined for months.
