The Prince George Cougars have acquired 18-year-old goalie Nick McBride from the Prince Albert Raiders in return for a 2017 second round WHL Bantam Draft pick.

Originally selected 23rd overall by the Raiders in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft, McBride (6’3”, 185 pounds) has appeared in 64 career regular season games.

He has a 25-25-1-2 record with a 3.22 career goals-against-average, a .900 save percentage and two shutouts.
