The Prince George Spruce Kings dropped a 6-2 decision to the Powell River Kings in BCHL action tonight (Fri).
Powell River would draw first blood on the power play courtesy of Carter Turnbull.
The River Kings would strike again two minutes later off the stick of Nick Halagian to go up 2-0 after 20 minutes.
Both teams would find the back of the net twice in the middle frame.
Jake LeBrun and Kyle Johnson would tie things up for Prince George before the two minute mark of the period.
The River Kings would re-take the lead late in the frame after a pair of goals from Gavin Rauser and Jonny Evans to lead 4-2 after 40 minutes.
Nick Halagian would get the hat-trick by scoring twice in the third to seal the victory for Powell River.
Prince George was outshot 40-20.
They continue their road-swing tomorrow in Alberni Valley.
