Charges have been laid in the murder of a Mackenzie man who was found dead more than a year ago.
In August 2014 Maurice Wallace was reported missing by his family after they lost contact with him.
It didn’t take long for RCMP to locate Wallace’s body in an outbuilding at his home. After examining the scene, Police opened a murder investigation into Wallace’s death.
Now an 18 year old man has been charged with second-degree murder and indignity to human remains.
Police have not released the name of the accused, as he was under 18 at the time of Wallace’s death.
