It’s been another rocky road trip for the Prince George Spruce Kings as they fell 4-1 to the Chilliwack Chiefs tonight (Sat).
After a scoreless first period the Chiefs would explode for three goals in the second thanks to a pair by Jordan Kawaguchi and Austin Adam.
Braiden Epp would make it a 3-1 game at 4:05 of the third period.
The comeback would be snuffed out at 18:20 of the period when Mitch Skapski iced the game with an empty netter.
Prince George was outshot 35-14.
Sam Tanguay made 31 saves in the loss.
Spruce Kings are back in action tomorrow against the Surrey Eagles.
