It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Prince George.
Snow is on the ground and The Spirit of North Healthcare Foundation is gearing up for their annual Festival of Trees.
“I love to see the children being excited. So the teddy bear brunch and teddy bear breakfast are always a huge seller” said CEO Judy Neiser “There really isn’t a bad event.”
Last year the festival raised $550,000 for the foundation. Neiser says they hope to top that number this time around.
“This year the equipment that we’re going after is a MALDI-TOF Spectrometer” said Neiser. “It’s a piece of equipment that will first-time detect exactly what type of infections and antibiotics are needed.”
The festivities run until the end of November, beginning with the Fashion Show this Friday at 6PM inside the Civic Centre.
