The UNBC Lady T-Wolves were unable to complete the sweep in women’s basketball falling 76-69 to the Mount Royal Cougars in Calgary tonight.
Eleni Steriopoulou led the team in scoring with 18 points off the bench while Hannah Pudlas and Maria Mongomo chipped in with 13 and 14 point efforts.
Katie Waring was the top scorer for Mount Royal with 14 points.
The Cougars had 4 other players reach double digit points.
Both teams are 1-7.

On the men’s side the T-Wolves also suffered the same fate dropping a 88-73 decision to Mount Royal this evening (Sat).
Rhys Elliott continued his fine play this season leading UNBC in points once again with 24.
The Cougars were led by Derek Wolf and James Lefebvre who netted 22 and 24 points each.
Mount Royal improves to 2-6 while UNBC falls to 3-5 at the Christmas break.
