An RCMP investigation into a stolen pick-up truck has uncovered fifty-thousand dollars worth of illicit drugs.
On Friday three men were arrested at a gas station on 5th avenue after police located a pick up truck that was reported stolen from a rural property east of the city.
Evidence found inside the truck led police to execute a search warrant at a house on Nechako Drive, after arresting a 25 year old woman on the property.
After searching the home police turned up 22 ounces of illegal drugs including cocaine, meth and heroine. Investigators also found $17,000 in cash and a stolen dirt bike which had been reported missing in March.
37-year-old James MacKean, 33-year-old Kurt Steinhauser and 25-year-old Rhianna Skorepa have been charged with a number of drug and stolen property related offences.
