Three North Central high school basketball players have been recruited to play the 2016-17 season with UNBC women’s basketball team.
Madison Landry and Alina Shakirova of Duchess Park plus Kassidy Dick of Nechako Valley have all made a commitment to the Timberwolves.
The 5’11” Madison and 6’1″ Kassidy were First Team North Central Zone All-Star forwards last season.
The 5’7″ Alina , a dynamic point guard who came to Prince George from Moscow, is the reigning North Central Zone MVP.
