The Prince George RCMP’s annual Girls’ Run for Fun wraps up tomorrow.
The eight-week program finishes with a 5km run for the girls that participated this year.
Community Policing Coordinator Linda Parker says it gets underway at 11am.
“The route runs through south Fort George and along Ingledew, upper Patricia Boulevard, Taylor Drive, and back to Fort George Park.”

Parker says the public is welcome to cheer on the girls as they run.
Over 40 girls between the ages of 10 and 15 registered for the program this year, which included discussions on issues such as drug awareness, social media safety, and self-esteem.
