Residents in Willow River will now see a new tax coming.
The results of a referendum held yesterday show they are in favour of paying to run the East Line Activity Centre.
Unofficial results show 107 ballots were cast with 81 votes in favour.
Regional Director Kevin Dunphy says homes will be taxed starting next year.
Dunphy says the centre is expected to open this fall along with the new Giscome School.
