“Enough is enough.”
Those are the words of Tracey Matters as she calls for an public inquiry into the RCMP shooting death of her brother Greg in 2012.
Matters says all RCMP activity leading up to her brothers death needs to be looked at independently so relevant government agencies are held to account.
She says there are a number of questions a Commission of Inquiry needs to find out.
One including the decision not to apprehend Greg Matters in a peaceful manner, when they had the opportunity to do so.
Last week the Independent Investigations Office announced an administrative review into the Greg Matters file, after a complaint was filed by the deputy attorney general.
