Boosters of the proposed Prince George Performing Arts Centre have launched a new campaign.
Board Treasurer Les Waldie with the PG Regional Performing Arts Centre Society says it’s to shoot down popular misconceptions about the project.
He says one myth surrounds the need for it.
Waldie also says they’re not asking for the city to foot the entire bill, just a portion of it.

The last estimate four years ago pegged the cost at $42 million.
He says more information about the campaign is available at their website www.PGPerformingArts.ca.
