PG Mounties have arrested an arson suspect.
They say it’s related to deliberately set fires near the junction of Highway 97 and 16 Monday.
Police say a pair of grass fires were set in the morning then again in the early afternoon which led them to a 49 year old Prince George woman on a scooter.
They say Lydia Paradis was held in custody overnight and will appear in court Tuesday and faces one charge of arson.
Police say other charges may be considered as the investigation continues.

They also note they are still investigating a series of grass fires earlier this spring in the VLA and Hudson’s Bay Slough areas.
