A significant crash has closed Highway 97 about 10km north of the Highway 39 junction.
Mackenzie RCMP are currently on the scene and say the incident involves a semi truck and car. One person is being treated for injuries, however the extent of the injuries are not known at this time.
The highway is closed in both directions as a result of the crash, but is expected to be open to single alternating traffic as crews work to clear the scene.
The cause of the crash is unknown, but the area is currently being hit with snowfall
