Vanderhoof sets paving projects in stone

Five new road paving projects have been approved for the District of Vanderhoof for the coming year.

Mayor Gerry Thiessen says one of them will be on Stewart Street.

Thiessen says total cost for this year’s street paving budget is set at $1.2 million.

He says the district is also setting in motion plans to replace the water tower.

Early estimates show that could cost around $2.4 million.
