Council to decide on water fluoride referendum

Whether or not to make fluoridating Prince George’s water a referendum question will be decided on at tonight’s city council meeting.

A report from the city staff will come forward asking if councillors want to put the issue on the municipal elections ballot this fall.

The proposed question would read: “Are you in favour of fluoridating the city’s water supply?”

Council will also get an update from the Canada Winter Games on how preparations are going.

The meeting gets underway at six in council chambers.
