A rally is scheduled for Friday afternoon at city hall over the Gaza conflict.
Called the “Stop the Occupation in Palestine” rally, organizers say through their Facebook that the aim is to make their voice heard in opposition to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
Organizer Hiraa Rashid says the rally plans to march down George Street to the Courthouse, starting at 3 p.m..
Thursday was also another violent day in the region as fighting broke out at the U-N shelterer in Gaza, killing 16 and wounding many others.
