A way to find local health services is available from the Ministry of Health. Their BC Health Locator App is up and running for people to download. Manager of Health Information Brande Strachan says people can find a wide variety of services.
“Including walk-in clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms, immunization locations, after hour pharmacies and laboratory services where they live.”
Strachan says the app has already seen over 11,000 downloads. She says its currently only available through Iphone, but they hope to release it for Android soon.
