An investigation into a “mysterious death” in Mackenzie continues.
The North District Major Crimes Unit and RCMP discovered human remains there on August 15th.
The Coroner Service has confirmed the deceased’s identity as 49 year old Mauriece Wallace of Mackenzie.
Police are not releasing the findings of an autopsy conducted this week, but would say his death is suspicious.
No charges have been laid.
