The UNBC women’s soccer team earned a 2-2 tie (Sunday) following a 2-0 loss (Saturday) in a pair of exhibition home games against MacEwan. Sidney Roy and Sydney Wilson tallied for the T-wolves in the draw. The UNBC women will play pre-season games Saturday and Sunday vs. TRU in Kamloops.

–The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team continues exhibition games this week in Alberta before hosting TRU Saturday and Sunday at 2 at Rotary. The UNBC men lost 3-1 to the FC Edmonton reserves.

–The Prince George Cougars are into day four of their training camp at CN Centre. The annual White vs. Black Intra-squad game will be played tonight at 7. Admission is free.

–Former P.G. Cougars forward Devin Setoguchi has a new home after signing a one-year, $750,000 deal with the Calgary Flames. The 27-year-old Setoguchi had just 27 points last season (including 11 goals) with the Winnipeg Jets.

–The Queensway Auto World Red Sox are champions in the Prince George Senior Baseball League. The Red Sox crushed the Inland Control Tigers 13-3 to sweep the best of five final 3-0.
