Citizens on Patrol help police with arrest

A dramatic assist from Prince George’s Citizens on Patrol.

On Friday, members of the volunteer patrol unit responded to a call to police of a man harassing a woman in a parking lot.

The two members found the suspect near 20th Ave. and Victoria St., made the call to police, and he was arrested soon after.

Police say 23 year-old Ivan Skin was allegedly breaching parole at the time of his arrest and appeared in court Monday on probation charges.

Prince George RCMP also want to use this opportunity get the word out about their community policing program.
