This morning’s gas leak that had sections of downtown Prince George blocked off and evacuated has been cleared up.
Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a call of a gas leak behind the 300 block of Quebec street at 6:45 this morning and worked with Fortis BC to secure a perimeter and stop the flow of the gas.
30 affected customers should have their service restored by this afternoon and one building remains closed until its completely ventilated.
