The summer concert series continues on this evening with some local talent on display.
Its brothers Darby and Erin Yule who make up the alternative rock band “The Statistics” and they’ll be showcasing their material live from City Park and 3rd avenue.
Organizer Christina Doll says she is thrilled with the feedback the event has garnered thus far.
“It’s really great to see that people are seeing an interest in this on Facebook, as well as on Twitter.” She says, “People have been retweeting and responding to our tweets. We encourage people who are at the show to tweet using the hashtag #StayDowntown because part of the goal of this show is to get people to stick around after work downtown to enjoy some great live music outdoors or to come downtown if they aren’t working in that area.”
The Festivities tonight run between 5:30 and 7 pm.
