Prince George Auto Racing Association announces food drive

The Prince George Auto Racing Association is starting a food drive in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Each team has until Sept 6th to gather as much non-perishable food they can. For each pound they collect, they’ll get one championship point up to a maximum of ten points.

PGARA Vice President Jamie Crawford says spectators can contribute to their favourite team this weekend at Hit-to-Pass;

“The cars will be on display this weekend at the racetrack.” Says Crawford, “If people want to bring canned food items, they can give it to either their favourite driver, or their favourite car…”

The final team weigh-ins are September 6th.
