The Prince George RCMP have closed 5th Avenue from Wainwright to Carney as part of a police operation.
They say the closure is necessary for both officer and public safety. There is currently no time for the reopening of the stretch of street.
Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are urged to take an alternate route.
