Police are continuing to investigate two incidents that took place on Norwood Street in Prince George.
On Sunday, September 17th, Prince George RCMP received a report shortly after 6:30pm of shots fired in a trailer park on the 2100 block of Norwood Street.
Officers then located an unoccupied vehicle with damage consistent to that of a shotgun shot. It is not believed anyone was in the vehicle at the time of the incident and no injuries have been reported.
A white Ford single cab pick-up with a black canopy was seen fleeing the area before police were called. The vehicle is believed to be stolen earlier in the day from a residence on Hammond Avenue.
A couple hours later, at approximately 9:30pm, an officer was in the same area as the same trailer park.
The officer observed two male suspects approach a residence with bandanas covering their faces and knocked on the door. An occupant was bear sprayed and the two suspects fled on bikes. The victim was treated by paramedics and released.
Police were able to catch on of the suspects, Lazare Francis Sampson, 23, but unable to get the other. Sampson, a Prince George resident, has been charged with the following:

- Assault with a weapon;
- Disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence;
- Resist arrest;
- Fail to comply with probation
Sampson was held in custody overnight and will appear in Provincial court today.
The Prince George RCMP acknowledge the incidents occurred a short distance from one another and within a short period of time, however, at this time there is no evidence to support that they are associated. Both incidents are believed to be targeted and investigation is ongoing.
