Sami Moilanen notched a hat-trick and Matt Berlin blocked 33 shots to lead the 2-0 Thunderbirds.

The 0-3 Cougars continue a three-game road trip Sunday in Portland.

Timberwolves goalie Ty Venhola earned a 10-save shutout and Stuart Rowlands scored the only goal to help UNBC earn the program’s first victory over UBC.
