The Gurudwara Sahib Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Temple will be hosting festivities tonight for Diwali.
Diwali is the biggest holiday in India, making it no surprise the Temple is expecting upwards of 500 Prince George families to attend.
“They put lights outside, kind of like Christmas,” explains Shamsher Buttar, a Prince George who will celebrate tonight.
“At the end of the day, there is meditation, prayer, and a feast together.”

The event is expected to run from 6pm to 9pm.
On October 28th, the College of New Caledonia will host a Diwali fundraising event.
