Brogan O’Brien scored twice, including the final goal of the game that came with the Cougars two men shorthanded.

Both Kody McDonald and Dennis Cholowski notched a goal and an assist and Taylor Gauthier made 25 saves before 2,922 hometown fans.

Same two teams meet again tonight, 7PM at the CN Centre.

Ben Poisson scored his second goal of the game 12 seconds into double OT before 1,186 fans at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena (RMCA).

The Spruce Kings host the West Kelowna Warriors tonight at 7PM.

The 12-3-1 Cariboo Cougars host the 9-5 Vancouver NW Giants this evening at 7:30PM and Sunday morning at 10AM at Kin 1.

Cariboo is tied with the 12-2-1 Valley West Hawks for top spot in the BCMML but the Hawks have a game in hand.
