PRINCE GEORGE COUGARS:

The 12-14-3-2 Prince George Cougars play their next eight on the road, including three this weekend.

The Cougars visit (13-14-3-1) Seattle Friday, (19-12-1-1) Everett Saturday, and (15-13-2-2) Vancouver Sunday in their final action prior to the Christmas break.

Prince George is last in the BC Division, two points behind Kamloops and five back of Vancouver.

PRINCE GEORGE SPRUCE KINGS:

The Prince George Spruce Kings put a six-game win streak on the line when they visit the (6-23-1-2) Coquitlam Express on Friday.

The 18-10-2-3 Spruce Kings also play at (17-14-3-1) Victoria Saturday and at (5-22-3-2) Cowichan Valley Sunday.

CARIBOO COUGARS:

The 17-4-1 Cariboo Cougars play the 8-12-2 North Island Silvertips Saturday (4:45PM) and Sunday (8AM) in Nanaimo.

The Major Midget Cougars are two points behind the first place Valley West Hawks, while the Silvertips are holding down the eighth and final playoff spot in the 11-team BCMML.

NHL:

P.K. Subban scored twice, including one from nearly center ice.

It was a season high fourth straight defeat for the 14-14-4 Canucks, who have been outscored 20-5 during their losing streak.

Vancouver will host San Jose on Friday.

HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY:

PGSS and College Heights Secondary will play in the 15th annual Spirit Hockey Game Friday at 12:30PM at the CN Centre.

In the Spirit of giving, PGSS will collect food and CHSS will collect funds for charities and together they will gather warm clothes for St. Vincent De Paul Society.

The Condor Classic senior basketball tournaments tip off today at Duchess Park.

Eight boys and seven girls teams are scheduled to compete with finals Friday night.
