Dylan Anhorn snapped a 1-1 tie with a shorthanded goal at 7:26 of the third period and the Prince George Spruce Kings went on for a 3-1 victory over the hometown Coquitlam Express.
Ben Brar put the game away with an empty net goal before a tiny crowd of 375.
16-year-old Corey Cunningham opened the scoring just 3:50 into the game for the Spruce Kings who posted their seventh consecutive victory.

Prince George outshot the last place Express 31-24 as Evan DeBrouwer picked up the win in net.
The 19-10-2-3 Spruce Kings continue on the road when they visit the Victoria Grizzlies tonight (Saturday) and the Cowichan Valley Capitals Sunday.
PG is second in the Mainland Division, a point behind Langley, who whipped Chilliwack 5-1.
