The Pacific Autism Family Centre held Its first ever Quiet Santa time in Prince George

Families were welcomed to bring their kids with or without autism or other related disorders to meet Santa because of a mall visit maybe overwhelming.

“A lot of noise like lights, loud music, that sort of thing can be very overstimulating and can be very intimidating. So that’s why we don’t have music here, that’s why it’s a very quiet space with the door closed.” – Northern Coordinator for Autism BC Corey Walker

If this event is successful they will be looking at expanding it into other holidays, like Halloween and Easter
