–The Prince George Spruce Kings start a 4-game, 5 day road trip Wednesday in Chilliwack against the Chiefs. Both the 6-2-0-1 Spruce Kings and Chiefs share top spot in the BCHL Mainland Division, however Chilliwack has a game in hand. Justin Rai of the Spruce Kings is tied for 2nd in BCHL scoring with 15 points
(9 goals,6 assists) behind Liam Blackburn of the West Kelowna Warriors (6 goals, 11 assists). Blackburn is a PG minor hockey product who played with the Cariboo Cougars. Chad Staley (6 goals, 6 assists) and Jeremiah Luedtke (3 goals, 9 assists) of the Spruce Kings are in the top 15.

–The Prince George Cougars put a 3 game win streak on the line when they visit Seattle Friday. The Cats also play Saturday in Vancouver. The Cougars are
coming off back to back 2-1 wins over the Giants as Ty Edmonds stopped 67 of 69 shots over the two games. The 6-4 Cougars are just a point behind second place Kamloops in the BC Division.

–The Cariboo Cougars are in 2nd place in the BC Major Midget League with a 6-1-1 record, three points behind the 8-0 Vancouver North West Giants. The Cariboo Cats are coming off a pair of wins in Nanaimo; 4-2 and 6-2 over the North Island Silvertips. Their next action will be this weekend on the road at the 0-6 Thompson Blazers.

–The UNBC Timberwolves have completed their season in Canada West soccer. The UNBC men finished 3-9 following a pair of losses in Kamloops to the TRU
Wolfpack 1-0 and 3-0. The Lady Timberwolves ended up 1-9-2 with the lone victory against TRU 2-1 however, UNBC lost its final game to the Wolfpack 6-3.
