The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has arrested and charged three men in connection with a homicide last spring.

The body of former Prince George resident Michael Bonin, 20, was found on the morning of April 20th, 2017 on a rural service road near Hope by Upper Fraser Valley RCMP and the Chilliwack Serious Crimes Unit.

Over the course of IHIT’s nine-month investigation, the team was able to identify and arrest three primary suspects.

Ryan Watt of Vancouver, 26, Joshua Fleurant of Prince George, 20, and Jared Jorgenson of Dawson Creek, 27, all face first-degree murder charges.
