Suspects sought in summer robbery

Police are looking to the public for help in identifying who is responsible for a residential robbery last summer.

At around 10:00am on August 12th, 2017, Prince George RCMP received a report of a robbery at a residence on Bertschi Road, northeast of Prince George.

A resident returned to his home off Shelley Road and found an unknown vehicle in his driveway and a man looking out a window from inside his home.

The resident was bear sprayed when he confronted the man in the residence and both suspects fled the scene, one in the vehicle and the other on foot.

A Police Dog Service Team was successful in finding several stolen items in a wooded area but were unable to find the suspects.

The vehicle is described as:

  • Late model Jeep;
  • purple;
  • with a chrome grill

There is no detailed description of either suspect, just the above sketch of one of them.

Police are reminding the public to not confront persons committing criminal offences.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact PG RCMP or Crimestoppers.
