Prince George RCMP arrest pair of suspects following truck thefts

The Prince George RCMP have two people in custody following a pair of truck thefts this week.

On Monday morning, police received a report of a stolen 2004 Ford F-350 from a home on Thompson Drive.

Just after 11 o’clock on Tuesday night, officers then found the truck being driven on the John Hart Highway by a local woman.

Monique Lee Willey, 29, was later arrested and is facing several charges.

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Fail to Comply with an Undertaking
  • Fail to Comply with Probation

Then just after 6 AM on Wednesday, police received another call about a stolen 2006 Ford F-350 from Westgate Avenue.

Police located the vehicle a few hours later at a residence on Nation Crescent.

When spotted by police, the male suspect tried to escape and rammed into a marked police vehicle, causing extensive damage.

Aidan Wesley Macdonald, 42, of Clucluz Lake  is facing a slew of charges including:

  • Fail to Stop for Police
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Assault Police Officer
  • Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Driving while Prohibited (4 counts)
  • Knowingly Driving while Prohibited
  • Fail to Comply with Probation (2 counts)

Both suspects will appear in Prince George Court later today.
