Isaiah DiLaura made 51 saves for the Cougars who ended a six-game losing streak.

Max Kryski scored twice while defencemen Rhett Rhinehart and Austin Crossley also tallied for PG.

In addition, Kryki had a fight just 1:28 into the game

The (24-38-5-4) Cougars play the (29-37-1-4) Blazers again this evening at CN Centre on Fan Appreciation Night, in the final game of the season for both teams.

Spruce Kings lead the best-of-seven BCHL Mainland Division final 1-0 with game two tonight at the RMCA.

Liam Watson-Brawn notched two goals and two assists, while Sam Anzai and Kyle Johnson also scored twice for the Spruce Kings, who outshot the Eagles 51-15 before 1,532 fans.

Games Three and Four shift to Surrey on Monday and Tuesday.
