Another slow start on the road proved costly for the Prince George Spruce Kings as they fell 4-0 to the Surrey Eagles in game four of their Mainland Division Final.
The vast majority of the Eagles offense came within a five minute span as Johnny Wesley, Matthew Campese and Jeffrey Stewart all scored on Prince George goaltender Evan DeBrouwer to fly out to a 3-0 first period lead, which lasted until the third.
After a scoreless second, Jackson Ross let a point shot go and beat DeBrouwer to put the exclamation point on the victory.
Surrey now leads the best-of-seven series 3-1 with game five set for Thursday at 7 PM at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
