Dust advisory ends in Prince George

The dust advisory issued Thursday for Prince George has now been lifted.

BC’s Ministry of Environment has deemed the air in our area safe after nearly 24 hours.

According to Northern Health, concentrations of dust lead have decreased, which was mainly noticeable along busy streets and industrial areas.

If you’re travelling south on Highway 97 today however, Quesnel is still under its dust advisory as of early this morning.
