Sunday will see the Prince George Legion holding its annual church parade.
The march itself will start at ten am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
President Bruce Gabrielle says this is similar to what was done years ago.
“Years ago in battle the troops would march up with their colours,” says Gabrielle, “and they would be blessed by their padres or minister to bless the colours and pray for safety for all those involved.”

Gabrielle says this is held in the lead up to Remembrance Day.
He says after the parade, people are invited to the Legion.
