A prolific offender has been arrested by Prince George RCMP.
Just before three on Saturday afternoon, police were called to Brock Drive after a report of a break and enter.
When RCMP approached the building, they announced “police,” and a man in the house pointed a handgun at one of the officers.
A while later, the man tried to flee the house but a police dog took him down.

25 year old Eric Joseph Heidemann was arrested and is now charged with numerous offences, including break and enter, pointing a firearm and possession of break-in instruments.
He is well known to RCMP and will be remanded in custody until Monday.
