Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant Saturday resulting in one arrest being made.
Shortly before 11am, police executed the warrant on the 1100 block of Chilako Avenue.
They arrested a 51-year-old Prince George man as a result. He is facing charges related to drug trafficking and weapons offences.
“Prince George RCMP continues efforts to target drug traffickers and reduce crime related to the illicit sale of street level drugs in our community,” says Staff Sergeant Steve McLeod in a statement.
“Crime reduction strategies related to drug trafficking including property crime and auto theft continue to be key components of the detachments strategic priorities”.
The investigation is continuing.
